What are your standard Holiday Camp hours?

Our Standard Holiday Camp Hours are: 9.30am-4.30pm

We also offer Extended Hours:

Early Birds (8.30-9.30am)

Evening Eagles (4.30-5.30pm)

Question 3

Will you provide lunch for my child?

Accepted Answer

No. Children should bring a packed lunch and snacks for morning and afternoon breaks. In addition, children should bring a refillable drink bottle with their name on it. Please note that we have a no nuts policy on camp.

Question 4

What should my child wear?

Accepted Answer

Children should bring appropriate clothing for all types of weather. Ideally every child should have 2 pairs of footwear, one for inside and one for outside if the weather is bad.

Will you provide drinks and snacks?

Accepted Answer

We do not provide Drinks & Snacks.

However, we do have a tuck shop (Non-Compulsory) - Max £1.50). 
You are welcome to provide your child/children with their own.

Please note: this is different on every Holiday Camp.

Will you provide sun cream?

No, we cannot apply sun screen to children. Please send the appropriate factor with your child and we will remind them throughout the day to apply it.

Can I contact my child?

If you need to contact your child whilst on camp, please call us on 01664 793263 and we’ll contact the Manager directly on your behalf.

How do I claim lost property?

Please label clothing, drinks bottles and lunch boxes. We leave all lost property with the venue so it's easy for you to collect.

Will my child be grouped with friends?

Accepted Answer

Many children arrive not knowing other children and part of attending TayPlay is developing new friendships. However, we do our best to accommodate friend requests made at the point of booking, prior to arriving on camp.

What activities will my child be doing?

TayPlay is a Multi-Activity Holiday Camp! Therefore, the children will participate in a wide range of different activities everyday!

The daily timetable will be on display at our registration point each day!

Question 11

What age does my child need to be to attend?

Accepted Answer

As TayPlay is an Ofsted registered provider, children have to be in Year One to attend our Multi-Activity Camps. Our camps are suitable for children in Year One - Year Six.

How do you select your staff?

All of our TayPlay Team undergo a selection and preparation process including:
– Interview
– Professional and personal reference checks
– Registration and clearance with the Disclosure Barring Service (DBS)
– Training & Assessment Day
– On-the-job mentoring
– Performance evaluations and scoring

Do you offer Extended Hours?

We certainly do! TayPlay works around parents/carers working day.

Early Birds (8.30am - 9.30am)

Evening Eagles (4.30pm - 5.30pm)

You can book your child/children onto our Extended Hours when booking. Additionally, you can add Early Birds & Evening Eagles to your booking closer to the time.
